Hans-Jürgen Thiel - Lead Guitar

Jürgen's musical career began at the age of 16.

After a few years of experimenting in various cover bands, his love for the music of Pink Floyd led him to start his first Pink-Floyd tribute band "Puls" in the late 90s.
From 2004 to 2014 he played the lead guitar for "The Pink Floyd Project". Highlights in this decade were joint appearances with Barclay James Harvest and Chris Farlow.

In 2015 he founded the band "Shine - The Pink Floyd Experience".
What makes Shine so special for him? It is not only the repertoire that gives the listeners a completely new approach to the music of their idols, but also the professional work in a band that cultivates a friendly and respectful relationship with each other.

Reimar Lorenz - Lead Vocals

As a teenager he founded his first cover band "La Grange", played everything that had keys and discovered his passion for singing.

In 1993 he formed the rock cover band "Cooter Brown"with three other musicians, with whom he is still unplugged on tour today.

Since 2001 he has been working as a composer and singer in the "Musical Kids" team. Further projects followed, for example, in 2004 "Schmunzelmotte - Workshops for children and adults"and in 2009 the international band project "Dream Higher".
Since 2011 he has been working as a singing trainer at the Modern Music School Kaiserslautern and Homburg.

Since 2015 he has been with "Shine - The Pink Floyd Experience" and is looking forward to many phenomenal gigs with great sound and lighting technology.

Marc Karim Ehlayil - Keyboard, Vocals

Karim began his musical career with an 8-year classical piano education. In addition, he took 2 years of drum lessons and autodidactically singing.

His appearances with various rock cover bands also opened up the financial possibilities for him to set up a private recording studio.

Since 2015 he has been with "Shine - The Pink Floyd Experience", a band that interprets what Karim used to fill his youth musically.
In addition to keyboards, he also controls sequencers and effect playbacks as well as lead and background vocals.

Detlef Anton - Keyboard, Vocals

Detlef aka “Toni” received classical piano training.

After graduating from high school with music as major subject, Toni had several small, but quite successful gigs with his newly founded cover band “Doc Rock”, which he likes to remember.
With his following bands (such as “Backdraft", "Midnight Train", "United Frogs", "Crazy Night", "Sunny Side Up Band", "Classic Counts", "SUB Sonics", "Back to the roots", "YEZ", ...), he has gained more than 30 years of experience on stage.

Background vocals and playing the piano have always been Toni’s greatest strength.
Now, one of his biggest dreams has come true, namely playing in a real Pink Floyd tribute band.

Christian Stoll - Guitar

Christian began to conquer the rock' n' roll guitar at the age of 14 and has been standing on the boards that mean the world since he was 17 years old.

Amongst others he played with the band's "White Horses","For You" and 16 years with the "Albert's Small Band". With "Graad Seläääds" and "Crazy Night" he made rock covers. With the band "Landfunk" he played Oldies-Beat & Rock' n' Roll.
In 2006 the collaboration with Jürgen Thiel started with the band "L.U.N.A.T.I.C" with self-made rock music.

With "Shine - The Pink Floyd Experience" Christian closes the circle. It was above all the phenomenal music of Pink Floyd that led him to change his guitar at the age of 14.

Philipp Roth - Guitar, Vocals

Philipp began his musical career at the age of 10 with an acoustic guitar, which he received as a communion gift.

In 2012 he founded the acoustic duo "Born and Raised". Out of this formation the rock cover band "Compliment for Soul"was formed in 2014.

In summer 2015 Jürgen Thiel brought him to the band "Shine - The Pink Floyd Experience".
The interplay between the generations and the imparting of timeless, emotional music is what fascinates him so much about Shine. No other music like Pink Floyd's hits him so hard.

Janet Krause - Vocals

Janet's career as a singer began with the band "Midnight Mover", in which she sang for 2 years.

Since 2014 she has been at the Modern Music School in Kaiserslautern, where she is coached by Reimar Lorenz.

Since 2016 she sings in the band "Shine -The Pink Floyd Experience". She loves the songs of Pink Floyd and it's great to see how much the audience loves and feels the songs.

Janina Fabian - Vocals

Through the family Janina discovered her love for music very early on.
At the age of seven she decided to take piano lessons and devote herself to singing.

Since 2015 she has been attending the Modern Music School Kaiserslautern and can be seen on stage at the annual concert in the Kammgarn.

She has been with Shine - The Pink Floyd Experience since 2017, where she enjoys working with so many experienced musicians and playing songs of a band that has had such a strong impact on music history.

Ricardo Marco Angel-Peters - Saxophon, Vocals

Ricardo studied orchestral music and music education at the Academy of Music and Drama in Saarbrücken from 1985-1993. Prior to that, he was a prizewinner of the "Jugend musiziert" award at regional, state and federal level.

As a soloist and chamber music partner, he performs extensively in Germany and abroad.
Among the most important appearances are Euroconcerts in Barcelona, Trier and Luxembourg as well as a series of concerts with the Prague Philharmonic in autumn 2005.

His artistic spectrum today ranges from classical music to klezm`n soul, jazz, swing and pop.

Since 2015 he has been with "Shine - The Pink Experience" and fulfils one of his many musical dreams for youth in a complete rock band.

Michael Graeber - Bass

Michael's musical career began at the age of 4 years with early musical education and lessons on various musical instruments.
As a teenager he then completed a classical guitar training.

In 2007 he dedicated himself to the electric bass and gained his first experiences with various rock and pop cover bands (e. g. the "SUB Sonic's") on larger stages.

In 2015 he met Jürgen Thiel and at the same time joined the rock band "L.U.N.A.T.I.C" (own compositions) and the tribute band "Shine - The Pink Floyd Experience" as bassist.

Accompanying the music of his youth with bass in "Shine - The Pink Floyd Experience" is for him a new challenge and a happy coincidence at the same time.

Ralf Trebing - Drums

Ralf started his musical career with trumpet at the age of 7 and changed to drums at the age of 14. He played in several regional bands before the successful musical "Hair" in 1992 went on a European tour over a period of two years. After that followed further musical engagements like "Linie 1" or "Dreigroschenoper". From 2008 to 2016 he had an engagement at the Saarländisches Staatstheater with the production "Direktmusik".
